Kőér utcai Uszoda

Az Uszoda a Spartacus sporttelepén épült.
A két vizes sportágon kívül - másodlagos funkcióként - az épülethez 90 m hosszúságú műanyag borítású futófolyosó tartozik az atléták és néhány más sportág téli edzéslehetőségeinek biztosításához.
A létesítmény átadására 1983-ban került sor.
1990-ben az OKISZ által létrehozott Ipari Szövetkezetek Sportalapítványa kapta meg a tulajdonjogot. A folyamatosan növekvő fenntartási költségek miatt a létesítmény 1995. augusztusában állami tulajdonba került.
Az uszoda és az épületben található egyéb sportcélú helyiségek a versenysport és az utánpótlás-nevelés igényei szerint kerültek kialakításra. A közönség sportolási, kikapcsolódási igényeit a tervezésnél nem vették figyelembe.
A létesítményt korábban kizárólag a BP Spartacus SC sportolói használhatták. 2000-től a Spartacus úszóin kívül a vízilabdázókat átvevő BP Honvéd SE az uszoda másik használója.

A 700 fő befogadására képes uszoda 13113 m2-en terül el.
Az épület 4 szintes 2 medencével rendelkezik, melyből 1 versenymedence (33 1/3 x 20 m, vízmélység: 1,90 m) és 1 tanmedence (20 x 6 m, vízmélység: 1,07 m)

Évente átlagosan 200 rendezvény kerül megrendezésre a létesítményben.

Kőér Street Swimming Pool

This swimming pool was built on the territory of the Spartacus sport premise.
Apart from the two aquatic sports – as a secondary function – there is a 90m long covered running line to give opportunity for trainings of athletes or other sports during the winter.
The institution was opened to public in 1983.
In 1990 its ownership was given to the Foundation of „Ipari Szövetkezetek” which was created by the OKISZ. Due to the frequently growing upkeeps the institution turned into state property in august 1995.
The swimming pool and all the other sport places were created according to the needs of the training of the rising generation. The public’s sporting and relaxing needs weren’t in focus during the planning .
Earlier the institution could only be used by the sportsmen of BP Spartacus SC . Since 2000 apart from the Spartacus’ swimmers the BP Honvéd SE - who recieved the waterpolo team - is the other user of the swimming pool.

The swimming pool which is able to take in 700 people lies on 13113 m2.
The building has four floors and it contains two pools. One is a contest pool (33 1/3 x 20 m, water depth: 1.90 m) and the other one is a training pool (20 x 6 m water depth: 1.07 m).

On the average there are 200 programs a year.

The swimming pool is CLOSED for public.
